Dyson ends his 15-year-association with the Toffees, where he joined the academy setup as a six-year-old back in 2003.

The confirmed move means that the talented striker will be reuniting with fellow former Everton youngster Conor Grant, who also made the move to the south coast this summer.

This is a good move for both Everton and Dyson. The 21-year-old was a promising talent, and enjoyed a few successful loan spells during his time at Goodison Park, but was never likely to proceed into the first-team setup. The striker flashed during his brief time at Grimsby Town during the 2016-17, where he scored four goals over his 16 appearances. Everton have now facilitated the young striker to succeed, and earn meaningful first-team football which can help him in the next step of his budding career. Plymouth describes the young man as ‘more than just a striker’ and are now well underway to building a better squad, now full to the brim with Premier League academy talent. These players could be invaluable to Derek Adams on the south coast, as they attempt to pus towards promotion to the Championship, where they were so close last season, finishing seventh.
