Tottenham suffered a defeat away to West Brom on Saturday afternoon in the Premier League – and Tottenham fans on Twitter ripped into defender Danny Rose for his performance.
The 27-year-old left-back was recalled to the starting XI and supporters were highly critical of his efforts.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side were beaten 1-0 to relegation strugglers West Brom, who managed to hang on to their slim hopes of survival with a dramatic late win thanks to goalscorer Jake Livermore.
The North London club failed to stretch their lead over fifth-placed Chelsea in the league table, meaning they could still have work to do if they want to secure Champions League football next year.
Spurs now have just one win in their last five matches across all competitions and that came against Watford last Monday.
Spurs fans on social media decided to dig out full-back Rose for his abysmal showing against West Brom, with many feeling he is miles away from his best.
The England international appears to have lost the attacking edge to his game, with no goals and no assists in his 15 appearances across all competitions this season.
He has played second fiddle to Welshman Ben Davies for the majority of the campaign and supporters aimed their anger at him at the weekend.
