Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has reportedly handed Mauricio Pochettino a lot of money to spend this summer.

The London Evening Standard claims that Spurs will have around £100million to spend in the transfer window, which could potentially be doubled if the club looks to offload some of their more valuable players.

It is understood that the £100million figure may also include the money that is available for wages, but it is still a hefty amount and Pochettino must look to spend it wisely in the coming months on players with Premier League experience who can offer a massive improvement on what he already has.

One player that Pochettino must look to spend a bulk of that warchest on is Watford attacker Richarlison, who has really hit the ground running since arriving at Watford last summer.

The Daily Mail has reported that Spurs are interested in the Brazilian forward, but Manchester United are currently in pole position to snap up the £40million-rated ace.

Statistics website Spotrac claims that Richarlison, 21, earns £32,000-a-week on his deal at Vicarage Road after moving to Watford in a deal worth £11million last summer.

He scored five goals and supplied five assists in 41 appearances across all competitions for the Hornets in his debut season in England, and he would be a real asset to the Spurs squad due to his versatility in attack.

Richardlison can play on both flanks, behind the striker in a number 10 role or as a centre-forward.

That kind of adaptability will seriously help Pochettino when his squad is down to the bare bones and he absolutely must splash the cash on Richarlison this summer.
