Declan Rice completed 90 minutes in the draw against Chelsea in the Premier League – and West Ham fans on Twitter were blown away by the youngster’s latest performance.
The 19-year-old defender helped his side earn a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge and he continues to enhance his growing reputation.
He is a ball-playing centre-back that stood form against quality Chelsea attackers in the shape of Eden Hazard, Willian and Alvaro Morata.
The Hammers picked up a league point thanks to a composed finish from centre-forward Javier Hernandez, which cancelled out a goal from Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta.
David Moyes’ side are now six points clear of the relegation places and have managed to rediscover some solid form since the international break.
West Ham fans on social media decided to drool over the display of teenager Rice against London rivals Chelsea.
They felt he was one of the outstanding individuals in the park and one supporter urged the club to extend his contract, which expires in 2019 as it stands.
Rice has broken into the starting XI in recent weeks and it seems like he could become a mainstay in the remainder of the season.

How good is Declan Rice? At 19. And England have never shown any interest in him. ROI’s gain and our loss. COYI
