Albert Adomah completed just 60 minutes in the home win over Cardiff on Tuesday night – and the club’s supporters on Twitter ripped into him for his performance.

The 30-year-old attacker has seen his form evaporate in recent weeks and he was substituted off early in midweek.

Steve Bruce’s side earned a dramatic 1-0 victory against promotion rivals Cardiff, with Jack Grealish netting a stunning volley in the 85th minute to separate the teams.

The result means that the Midlands giants maintain a slim hope of reaching the automatic spots, but look set for a crack at the play-offs.

Meanwhile, Cardiff slipped down to third in the league standings and were leapfrogged by in-form Fulham.

There were plenty of positive for Villa to take after edging past Cardiff, but a selection of fans on social media still vented their frustration towards one player.

Adomah has been under the spotlight in recent weeks for his performances and the right-winger appears to have hit a poor run of form.

The Ghanian has struck an incredible 15 goals in all competitions this season, but has now gone six games without scoring and has struggled since the memorable 4-1 win over runaway leaders Wolves.

He will surely be hoping to reignite his form ahead of the play-off matches and has still been a positive light this campaign.
