Celtic overcame a stubborn Hamilton Academical to come away from New Douglas Park with a 2-1 win on Sunday afternoon, but fans have taken to Twitter to slam midfielder Olivier Ntcham.

It didn’t take long for the Hoops to go ahead as Patrick Roberts found Callum McGregor on the edge of the box before the midfielder rifled a low left-footed effort home after just three minutes.

Hamilton however came back into the game and found themselves level 15 minutes later when Rakish Bingham did well to hold off Kristoffer Ajer and slot past Scott Bain.

Accies’ efforts to stay level took a massive hit just before half-time when Darren Lyon was sent off after being shown two yellows in quick succession.

Celtic then came out of the blocks quickly to start the second-half and substitute Leigh Griffiths headed home Scott Sinclair’s cross just a minute after coming on to give them the lead once again.

The Hoops then saw out the three points to go one win away from retaining their title for a ninth time in a row, now holding a 13-point advantage over second-placed Rangers and third-placed Aberdeen.

Despite the win, fans took to Twitter to slam the display of 22-year-old Ntcham, who completed 90 minutes in the middle of the park for Brendan Rodgers’ side.
