Celtic look on course for yet another league title this season, but it’s important that they improve their squad over the summer because there is no way Old Firm rivals Rangers will be keeping quiet.

Brendan Rodgers is still on course to complete a domestic treble this campaign, but the failure on the European stage still hangs over the manager and there is room for improvement.

The Bhoys should look to add some extra attacking firepower as they have actually been outscored by second-placed Rangers in the league.

One player that should grab the attention of the Scottish giants is Sunderland attacker Wahbi Khazri, who this season has been in brilliant form for French top-flight club Stade Rennais.

L’Equipe has reported in their print edition, as translated by Sport Witness, that Khazri is currently worth £13million to Sunderland.

However, it is understood he could be available for as low as £4million in the summer if the Black Cats are relegated from the Championship this season.

Sunderland are currently bottom of the league table after enduring a torrid campaign and there is a good chance that the 27-year-old could become available for a cut-price fee.

Khazri would be an excellent and affordable recruit for Celtic, who would add some serious quality to the Parkhead attack.

The Tunisia international is a versatile attacker that can play anywhere across the frontline and has been tearing it up in Ligue 1 this season.

He has featured 24 times so far during his loan spell, scoring 11 goals and supplying three assists in return.

The fleet-footed attacker has the quality to tear it up in the Scottish league and could perhaps provide a solution to their European problems too.
