Arsenal would be willing to sanction the permanent exit of defender Hector Bellerin in the summer, according to the Daily Mail.

The newspaper claims that the Gunners are prepared to listen to offer for the 22-year-old at the end of the season to help fund their squad rebuilding plans.

It is understood that Juventus are lining up a move for the right-back and that the player would consider leaving the Emirates Stadium.

The report details that Arsenal will put a £50million price tag on the Spain international as they look to recuperate a large sum of cash for him.

Bellerin is a key first teamer for the North London club as he is one of the most senior full-backs, with emerging youngster Ainsley Maitland-Niles the alternative right-back option.

The defender is renowned for his blistering pace and has already made 36 appearances across all competitions this season, chipping in with three goals.

Good move for Arsenal?

Bellerin’s form has certainly been inconsistent this campaign and he is yet to really live up to the hype.

The speed merchant burst onto the scene a few years ago and was mentioned with a move to boyhood club Barcelona.

With that being said it would have to be considered a good deal if Arsenal could cash in on him for anywhere near to £50million.

Bellerin can be caught out defensively quite easily and has often frustrated fans this season with his delivery in the final third.

Likely to happen?

It seems like an Arsenal exit for Bellerin is on the cards, but the real question is whether a team will fork out a huge eight-figure sum for his signature.

Bellerin still has massive potential and has raw speed that could be better utilised elsewhere.

However, the Gunners are unlikely to let him go on the cheap and a £50million price tag seems very high given his recent form.
