Tottenham Hotspur have been drawn against Manchester United in the semi-finals of the FA Cup, and fans have taken to Twitter to react to the news.
Spurs secured their place in the last-four with a comfortable 3-0 win over Swansea at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday, with two goals from Christian Eriksen and one from Erik Lamela seeing them through.
Eriksen opened the scoring with a sublime left-footed effort from outside the box before Lamela got in on the act with a right-footed curler that doubled their lead.
Spurs’ progress was secured in the second-half when Eriksen scored his second with a deflected effort from around 18 yards out, and they will meet the Red Devils in the semi-finals.
Jose Mourinho’s men beat Brighton 2-0 in the later kick-off on Saturday to secure their place in the semi-finals, with Romelu Lukaku and Nemanja Matic scoring.
The other semi-final sees Southampton and Chelsea face off after the Saints beat Wigan 2-0 on Sunday thanks to goals from Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Cedric Soares.
Chelsea then beat Leicester in the weekend’s final match to complete the last-four lineup, with the ties to be played over the weekend of 21st to the 22nd of April.
