Manchester United and Juventus are both interested in signing Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey in the summer, according to The Sun.

The newspaper claim that the 27-year-old midfielder is seen as being worth £35million and is now at the centre of a tug-of-war between the two European giants.

The Sun report that current Serie A leaders Juventus want to sign Ramsey as they believe he can form a dynamic midfield partnership with Liverpool’s Emre Can at their club.

However the Italian giants fear they may still miss out of signing Can when his Reds contract expires at the end of the season, as Bayern Munich could still hijack their swoop for him.

According to The Sun’s report, Juventus originally planned to snap Ramsey up for free when his contract expires in 2019, but the situation with Can is causing them to speed up their efforts.

Whereas it is believed that Manchester United are interested in signing Ramsey as Jose Mourinho thinks he could replace Paul Pogba at the club, if the French international departs in the summer.

Good move for Arsenal?

No, particularly if they decide to sell him to their Premier League rivals Man United.

Man United already have a better team than the Gunners , shown by the fact that they’re second in the league, which is four places higher than Arsene Wenger’s side.

The 27-year-old midfielder may not have been sensational in the 23 appearances he has made this season, but he is still one of the best players at the Emirates.

The Gunners may fear that Ramsey will leave for free when his current contract expires in 2019, as reported by the Daily Mail, but they should find a way to get him to stay, not sell him.

Likely to happen?

It’s hard to say that there’s no chance Ramsey will leave in the summer.

If the Gunners really do fear that they won’t be able to get the 27-year-old midfielder to sign a new contract with the club, then it makes sense to sell him in the summer in order to stop another Alexis Sanchez situation happening.

Wenger’s hands were clearly tied over selling Sanchez to Man United in January, and he won’t want to be forced to sell Ramsey to them as well.

Therefore if Juventus’ reported interest is legit, then it wouldn’t be a surprise if the Gunners accepted an offer from them in the summer.
