Manchester United fans took to social media to slam Marouane Fellaini for his performance against Sevilla on Tuesday.

Jose Mourinho’s side lost 2-1 to the Spanish side in the Champions League at Old Trafford, and fans were not happy with the role that the Belgian international played in the game.

One Man United supporter tweeted that their side was only struggling in the game because Fellaini was played and he offered his side nothing.

While another fan stated that the 30-year-old could not play football with his feet, as many other supporters urged for Mourinho to substitute him.

The Portuguese manager gave fans what they wanted in the 60th minute as he opted to add Paul Pogba into the game in place of Fellaini.

The 30-year-old midfielder has made 17 appearances across all competitions for Mourinho’s side this season, scoring four goals and registering one assist in his outings.

Fellaini may not be at Old Trafford beyond the end of this season, as his contract is currently set to expire in the summer.

The midfielder has been at Manchester United since September 2013 after joining from Everton.
