Jordan Henderson (Central midfield) – Henderson is unfairly criticised at Liverpool. The midfield general brings a sense of stability to this midfield when he plays, and that cannot be underestimated. He may not be the most exciting of players, but he does a job. Must retain his place.
Emre Can (Central midfield) – Whether Can will be at Liverpool past this summer is unknown, but while he is at Anfield he must play. The Germany international is such a key player for Klopp in midfield. Retains his place.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (Central midfield) – Oxlade-Chamberlain is proving the doubters more wrong every week with his displays for the Reds, and he brings a directness to this midfield that is rarely seen. Must come in alongside Henderson and Can on Saturday. Oxlade-Chamberlain for James Milner.
