Everton fans on social media were fuming with Yannick Bolasie after his performance against Stoke City on Saturday.
Sam Allardyce opted to keep the left-winger in his starting line-up for the game, after Bolasie impressed him during the 2-0 victory over Brighton last weekend.
However the winger was instantly panned by fans as early as the 10th minute of the game, as he kept giving the ball away.
One fan tweeted that Bolasie shouldn’t be considered a professional footballer during the first half but hoped that the winger’s second half performance would cause him to eat humble pie for doubting his ability.
While another supporter shared that they thought Bolasie did nothing but give the ball away and that they would rather have Ademola Lookman in the first team.
Lookman left the Toffees in January to join RB Leipzig on loan until the end of the season.
Bolasie was making only his 10th league appearance of the season on Saturday, after being ruled out for the first half of the Toffees’ campaign with a serious knee injury.
Since returning to the Toffees’ team, the winger hasn’t been unable to grab a goal or an assist in order to help his side.
Fans would have appreciated it if he had scored during the Toffees’ game with Stoke, but Allardyce’s side still managed to win 2-1 without him getting on the scoresheet.
