Everton’s Yannick Bolasie could be a game changer for his side but Sam Allardyce must advise the winger to stop doing pointless tricks.

By simply giving the 28-year-old winger that basic piece of advice, the Toffees manager will transform Bolasie into the player he is destined to be.

The winger has the potential to be one of the best players in the Premier League as his blistering pace and ability to easily go past defenders make him a force to be reckon with.

Bolasie’s ability saw the Toffees pay £25million for him, according to the Guardian, and he could one day be worth even more.

The speed demon hasn’t been able to fully show what he is able to do this season, as he has only made 10 league appearances due to a serious knee injury keeping him on the sidelines.

While he is still recovering from his injury, which effects his performances, there’s one part of his game that lets him down.

Bolasie feels the need to demonstrate his dazzling ability by pulling off skill moves, and more often than not this causes him to lose the ball.

Now while the winger can use his skill moves to baffle his opponents, he does it so often when he doesn’t need to, that defenders plan accordingly.

It’s reminiscent of when Cristiano Ronaldo first joined Manchester United and seemed obsessed with doing step-overs, that it caused him to at times be a liability to his side.

Once the Portuguese winger had this annoying habit drilled out of him by Sir Alex Ferguson, Ronaldo started his journey to being one of the best players in the world.

While Bolasie will probably not reach the heights of Ronaldo, if Allardyce successfully gets through to him, the 28-year-old winner will have the ability to win games for his side.
