West Ham must act fast to ensure they sign Arsenal’s Reiss Nelson on loan in the summer as the talented teenager could flourish at the London Stadium.

The Sun reported on Monday that the Gunners were set to loan Nelson and Eddie Nkeitah out next season as the pair need to gain first-team experience in order to aid their development.

The Hammers have to take this golden opportunity to bring a teenage sensation like Nelson to the club as he will excite fans and be an asset to his side.

The 18-year-old winger, who can play on either wing or as an attacking midfielder, is a tremendous talent and has shown glimpses of his ability in the 14 senior appearances he has made this season.

Nelson is capable of putting in match-winning displays, as he has previously proven his ability to pick out his teammates with beautiful passes which lead to goalscoring opportunities.

The 18-year-old has featured eight times in the Europa League this season and has a pass success rate of 88.6%, according to WhoScored, which shows his pinpoint accuracy when it comes to passing.

Nelson also loves to take on his opponents by running at them and this is a quality that the Hammers’ current squad could do with, as they need players willing to go the extra mile to drive their team forward.

David Moyes’ side will have to act fast to get Nelson’s signature, as even though the Gunners are willing to loan him out, the Hammers will face tough competition from sides across Europe.

In fact according to the Daily Mail,Real Madrid and Paris St-Germain were keeping an eye on the teenage talent as his Gunners contract is set to expire in 2019.

Nelson’s ability to catch the eye of two of Europe’s biggest clubs, surely proves that he’d be capable of doing a job for the Hammers next season.

Therefore the Hammers must jump at the chance to bring Nelson to the club, even if it’s only a short-term deal, as he could be an exciting revelation at the London Stadium next season.
