West Ham should swoop in the summer for Jack Grealish if Aston Villa fail to win promotion to the Premier League.

The 22-year-old attacking midfielder is currently pulling all the strings for the Villans in order to try and get them successfully promoted from the Championship.

Grealish has demonstrated his superb creative ability in the 19 appearances he has made this season, and he would have more than four assists to show for his efforts, if he was surrounded by better teammates.

The playmaker has been at the Villans for his whole career, with the Birmingham Mail reporting that he’s desperate to play in the Premier League with his boyhood club once again.

However with the midfielder turning 23 next year, he must realise that in order to get Premier League football again, he might need to leave the Villans behind.

There’s a real chance that Steve Bruce’s side won’t win promotion this season, with the Villans currently sitting fourth, as the play-offs are a glorified lottery.

The Hammers should be set to take advantage of the Villans’ potentially missing out on promotion, by plotting a move for Grealish.

This is of course assuming that the Hammers manage to avoid relegation from England’s top-flight, as they currently sit only two points clear of the bottom three.

David Moyes’ side are in desperate need of a revolution when it comes to their current playing squad, as their squad is not only filled with over-the-hill players, it’s depleted as well.

Grealish would be the perfect young talent to be the center piece of a potential revolution, as the player’s style is not only exciting to watch but given the fact he’s still only 22-years-old, he could excite Hammers fans for many years to come.

Therefore the Hammers should aim to sign the Villans’ superb playmaker in order to start a new exciting era at the club.
