Charly Musonda is still in the early stages of his 18-month loan at Celtic, but it’s clear that he is already beginning to frustrate fans and Brendan Rodgers needs to address the problem.

The 21-year-old attacker joined the Scottish giants in January from Premier League giants Chelsea and is a very highly-rated player at Stamford Bridge.

He is still guilty of being inconsistent as a young player and that has already been highlighted by some Celtic fans from just his first six appearances for the club.

Musonda is an eye-catching player that can produce real moments of technical quality in possession, but fails to sustain that over an entire 90 minutes and that is a real concern.

Brendan Rodgers definitely signed the creative playmaker to be a mainstay in the starting XI and should give him a run of starts to prove himself.

Musonda should be slotted into an advanced role despite competition from the likes of Tom Rogic and Callum McGregor.

Celtic definitely have added an attacker with colossal potential and it should be up to Rodgers to try get the best out of him.

The speed merchant can go past opponents like they are not there and has shown in the past he can be a goal threat.

However, Rodgers’ may need to help the youngster find his feet in terms of doing the ugly side of the game and adding some more physicality would improve him tenfold.
