Borussia Dortmund have submitted a bid to sign Tottenham target Malcom from French outfit Bordeaux, according to the Sun.

The newspaper claims that the Bundesliga side have launched an offer to sign the left-footed attacker, while fellow German club Bayern Munich also made an offer last week.

 Good move for Spurs?

Malcom is certainly a promising talent in Ligue 1 and the widespread interest him suggests how good he can be.

The Brazilian wide man has made 28 appearances across all competitions this season, scoring eight goals and supplying seven assists in return.

He has an excellent turn of speed and a cultured left foot that could bring an extra edge to the Spurs attacking set-up, but they do perhaps already have an overload of options.

Malcom is a player for the future and could find it difficult competing alongside the likes of Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli, Heung-Min Son, Lucas Moura and Erik Lamela.

Likely to happen?

Spurs appear to be losing the race for Malcom ahead of the summer and it seems unlikely they will cough up over £50million for another winger.

According to the free football tips at Tipsfix.com, Dortmund are more likely to sign the striker but considering Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery are both 34, Bayern could be a good outside bet.

The German heavyweights are firmly in the running for his signature and he looks far more likely to join one of them over a switch to England.
