Tottenham expected XI v Rochdale

|

Michel Vorm (Goalkeeper) – Vorm has stepped in for Hugo Lloris for the FA Cup games this season, and Wednesday is not expected to be any different. Vorm for Lloris.

Kieran Trippier (Right-back) – Trippier was overlooked for the Palace win, to the annoyance of many Spurs fans. Replacement Serge Aurier did not exactly inspire confidence with his performance either. Trippier is expected to play on Wednesday. Trippier for Aurier.

Toby Alderweireld (Centre-back) – Alderweireld has been slowly introduced back into action since recovering from the serious hamstring strain that kept him out for three months. With Belgian compatriot Jan Vertonghen injured, Alderweireld is expected to reignite his partnership with Juan Foyth from the first leg. Alderweireld comes in for Davinson Sanchez.

Juan Foyth (Centre-back) – Foyth has been consigned to appearances in cup competitions so far in his Spurs career, but that is expected considering his young age. The Argentine has shown glimpses of quality, and Pochettino has high hopes for his future. Expected to play as usual on Wednesday. Foyth comes in for Eric Dier.

Danny Rose (Left-back) – Rose has been unlucky after suffering another injury setback in recent weeks, but he is expected to line up at left-back like he did in the first leg. Rose for Ben Davies.
