Tottenham Hotspur face an important FA Cup fifth-round replay against Rochdale on Wednesday, and Mauricio Pochettino must not be complacent with his team selection.

Spurs were on course for a come-from-behind win against the League One minnows in the first leg before veteran striker Steve Davies struck in the last minute to secure the Dale a famous Wembley replay with a 2-2 draw.

Spurs come in off the back of a win over Crystal Palace that was a massive test of their Champions League credentials on Sunday, with Harry Kane scoring an 88th-minute winner to secure a 1-0 win.

The striker popped up at the far post to rise above Damian Delaney and head home Christian Eriksen’s inswinging corner, earning three precious points for Spurs in the race for Champions League qualification.

The weekend’s other results – particularly Chelsea’s 2-1 loss to Manchester United – means that Spurs are now back up to fourth in the table with 10 games to play.

Focus now turns back to the opportunity of silverware and a replay against Rochdale, who are not in great form coming in.

The Dale haven’t won in two matches since the first leg, with a 0-0 draw against MK Dons followed by a 1-0 loss to Wigan at the weekend.
