Tottenham best XI v Juventus

|

Lucas Moura (Right-wing) – Dele Alli worked his socks off against Arsenal, but the key attacker must be dropped for this Champions League clash. He has been ineffectual in front of goal and struggled to really link up with teammates in recent weeks. Speed machine Lucas has shown great promise by working hard in training, and his pace would be a massive asset on the counter in this away clash. The 25-year-old Brazilian must be handed his debut v Juve. Lucas for Alli.

Christian Eriksen (Attacking midfield) – Eriksen is the glue that binds this Tottenham attack together, and even when he has a quiet game he is still so essential. Must play as usual against Juventus. Retains his place.

Son Heung-Min (Left-wing) – Son was below-par against Arsenal, but still posed a threat to the Gunners’ defence. The South Korean is such an underrated part of this Spurs attack, and he must play against Juventus. Retains his place.

Harry Kane (Striker) – An easy choice up front. Kane is quite simply one of the best players in world football right now, and always performs on the big stage for Spurs. It doesn’t get much bigger than the Champions League knockout rounds, and he must be given the chance to perform on Tuesday. Retains his place.
