Tottenham Hotspur face bitter rivals Arsenal at Wembley for a crucial Premier League clash on Saturday, and Mauricio Pochettino must revert to a back three if he wants to come away with three points.
Spurs ran out comfortable 2-0 winners over Newport County in their FA Cup fourth-round replay on Wednesday, after snatching a 1-1 draw in the first game.
An own goal from Dan Butler opened the scoring, before Erik Lamela scored his first goal in well over a year to double Tottenham’s lead, which they easily protected until the final whistle.
Spurs’ attention now turns to rivals Arsenal, and the race for the Champions League, and a win could put a considerable dent in their rivals hopes to make the top four.
Arsenal sit four points behind Spurs, but could close the gap to just a single point with victory, and the Gunners pose a considerable danger with their well-known good form at Wembley.
They are coming off an impressive 5-1 demolition of Everton last time out, and look in good touch after a January window that saw them bring in Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
