Tottenham play Arsenal in the north London derby on Sunday at Wembley and Michael Owen has predicted a victory for the hosts.

In his predictions for BetVictor, the pundit shared that he thinks Spurs will successfully get revenge against their rivals after losing to them earlier in the season as the Gunners aren’t as effective away from home.

“Spurs lost the reverse fixture 2-0 at the Emirates earlier in the season but I think they can get revenge for that loss against an Arsenal side who still have to prove they can be as effective on the road as they are at home,” stated Owen.

Owen went on to reveal that he believed it would be an “entertaining” game due Pierre-Emmerick Aubameyang and Harry Kane both being in top-form ahead of the clash.

“Pierre-Emmerick Aubameyang made a promising home debut against Everton last weekend and has scored four goals in his four previous games against Spurs when with Borussia Dortmund,” said the pundit.

“Premier League leading scorer Harry Kane has six in six against the Gunners and I think it will be the hosts who keep the points in what promises to be an entertaining clash with plenty of opportunities at both ends.”

Arsenal are currently one position behind Spurs in the league as they sit sixth, and know that victory at Wembley would make the gap just one point between the sides.

OPINION

The Gunners were in sensational form against Everton as they defeated the Toffees 5-1, however Sam Allardyce’s side had a lot of problems for Arsene Wenger to take advantage of. Tottenham should be able to record a victory against Arsenal on Sunday, however they will need to be at their best. Kane needs to be firing on all cylinders along with Spurs’ defence being ready to deal with the very dangerous Aubameyang.  Both sides will be highly motivated to go for the win on Sunday as the result could prove vital in both teams’ bids to finish in the top-four come the end of the season.
