Heung-Min Son has shared that he believes he can do better at Tottenham despite being in impressive form this season.

The Spurs winger has scored eight goals and grabbed four assists in 24 Premier League appearance this season, as well as scoring three goals in five Champions League appearances.

However despite Son having superb statistics for the season so far, the South Korean international shared in an interview with Thierry Henry for Sky Sports that he can do more and credited his teammates with helping him get assists.

“Of course [I can do more],” said Son.

“But sometimes I just pass the ball and I have good team-mates, and they can score.

“Sometimes it’s not an unbelievable assist, I just pass to ‘H’ [Harry Kane] and he can score from everywhere.”

Last season, Son scored 21 goals and registered 10 assists in 47 appearances across all competitions for Tottenham.

The winger also admitted in his interview that he was enjoying himself at Spurs this season, as he was living his dream of playing in the Premier League.

“This was my dream, and this is still my dream. I’m living in my dream, but I can’t believe it!” admitted Son.

“I’m just happy to be here in England and playing in the Premier League.”

OPINION

Son has been sensational for Tottenham over the last two season, and the thought of him being able to contribute more goals and assists should frighten Spurs’ opposition. The South Korean international would arguably be seen as Spurs best player if it wasn’t for a certain Harry Kane, who just seems to keep getting better and better. That said, Son shouldn’t underestimate his ability to provide Kane with golden opportunities to score. While the winger admits Kane makes his job easier as he can score from anywhere, the England forward would probably soon tell you that Son is the one helping him out.
