Liverpool are leading the chase for French starlet Mohamed Bahlouli who is making rapid progress for Lyon’s youth teams, according to France Football. 

The French football magazine report that the 18-year-old midfielder is really impressing with his form for the club’s youth sides, and the Reds are now circling.

France Football claim that Bahlouli has begun to outclass his Under-19 teammates, and has even begun to play for the club’s reserve side despite only just turning 18.

It is said that several of Europe’s top sides have shown interest in Bahlouli, but Liverpool seem to be at the front of the pack, and the youngster is said to be interested in a move to Anfield.

Good move for Liverpool?

Bahlouli is obviously impressing for Lyon, who are well-known for their solid youth set-up.

The 18-year-old midfielder certainly looks like a star of the future, having attracted the attention of several top clubs around Europe, and Liverpool would do well to secure his signature.
