Liverpool best XI v Porto

Sadio Mane (Left-wing) – Coutinho’s departure has also given Mane a big chance to shine, but it is one that he is yet to take. Despite his disappointing recent form, the Senegal international must start on the left of Liverpool’s normal front three. Retains his place.

Mo Salah (Right-wing) – Salah’s incredible goalscoring form this season continued against Southampton, and it shows no sign of letting up soon. The Egyptian’s finishing is just sublime, and it is almost impossible to stop him getting in goalscoring positions. Retains his place.

Roberto Firmino (Striker) – Firmino now has 20 goals in all competitions this season, which is easily his best tally for the club, and he is now just two goals behind equalling his career-best 22 goals in a season. The Brazilian works so hard, and his finishing is always solid. Retains his place.
