If Farhad Moshiri opts to end Sam Allardyce’s reign in the summer then it’s not hard to see what the next Everton manager must do at the club.

The Times reported on Wednesday that Moshiri, Everton’s main shareholder, was considering Allardyce and the club’s director of football Steve Walsh’s futures.

The newspaper claimed that after spending two years as the chief shareholder and spending £270million, Moshiri was considering making another change at the club.

The Toffees are currently ninth in the Premier League with 34 points, making them 11 points off the top six, which was believed to be where the club was aiming to finish in the league this season.

As well as being miles behind their desired finish, Everton have been in miserable form as of late, as they’ve only won two games in 2018.

Allardyce was appointed manager in November and signed an 18 month contract, according to the BBC, after he took over from Ronald Koeman who had left the club in a relegation battle.

The former England manager steered the Toffees away from the bottom three, but his recent performances prove that he isn’t the right man to take the club forward.

This is Futbol have picked out three things the next Everton manager must do in order to take the club in the right direction, including which player must finally be allowed to perform at his best.
