West Ham will reportedly listen to offers for their striker Javier Hernandez in January – and Tottenham fans on Twitter have urged the club to pursue a move for him.
Sky Sports report that the Hammers are willing to let the 29-year-old leave the London Stadium for the right price in the January window after only six months at the club.
It is understood that manager David Moyes is planning a major reshuffle of his attackers and the £16million signing could be out of the exit doors.
The Mexico international has made 21 appearances for West Ham so far this season and managed four goals in return.
However, Hernandez proved in the past he can be a success in English football with 59 goals in 158 games for Manchester United.
Spurs fans on social media have responded to news that Hernandez has been made available and urged Mauricio Pochettino to try complete a January deal for him.

If it’s true West Ham are binning Hernandez already I’d have him at Spurs. Purely as a different option.

Llorente, big man
Hernandez, fox in the box.— Ferret (@ferret_7) January 12, 2018
Mahrez and javier Hernandez would be absolute brilliant buys, and if we kept everyone during the summer I reckon we wouldn’t even need much more, and going into our new stadium, with a much stronger and bigger depth squad! #coys #thfc @SpursOfficial

Would love Hernandez to Spurs …
Service from CE and DA he’d score plenty!???— Kev M (@Kev88888) January 11, 2018
He’s obviously not happy there , Bilic played him out of position.
He’s proved at other clubs what he can do with good players behind him
Would I take him at Spurs if fee cheap and wages nearer 100 ?

Javier Hernandez was never suited to West Ham’s hoof ball but he would be suited to Spurs cultured football #UnpopularTweet

Id take Javier Hernandez at Spurs to back up Kane. Can be a big influence off the bench too.

Spurs have struggled in the past couple of years in finding a back-up striker to talisman Harry Kane, with Vincent Janssen last year and Fernando Llorente this term failing in that role.
Hernandez proved during his time at Old Trafford he can make a major impact as a ‘super sub’ and supporters feel he could fill a similar role at the north London club.
The current West Ham ace is renowned for being a clinical finisher in the 18-yard box and for having good pace, setting him apart from Kane and Llorente.
