The January race for Celtic striker Moussa Dembele is hotting up as Everton plot a £20million move for the young Frenchman.
As reported by The Sun, the Toffees are plotting to swoop for Dembele once a fee has been agreed between Celtic and a rival, with Brighton showing heavy interest.
The Seagulls are the Premier League side who have looked most likely to submit a bid for the 21-year-old goal machine, with Stoke also reportedly keeping tabs.
While it does not look like there have been any concrete bids submitted as of yet, it is pretty clear that there will be an almighty battle on once that happens.
Dembele has not spoken of a desire to leave the club, but it is thought that the young striker wants to move away from Celtic to play in a bigger league and boost his chances of going to the World Cup with France.
His goalscoring record for the Hoops is tremendous, having netted 40 goals in 70 appearances since his move from Fulham in the summer of 2016.
Whether he does seal a move away is obviously uncertain, but if the 21-year-old was to leave Parkhead, then who should Celtic look to sign as a replacement?
