Celtic hold no interest in signing Borussia Dortmund centre-back Neven Subotic or Red Star Belgrade forward Luka Adzic, according to the Daily Record.
The newspaper report in their live transfer blog (20/01, 12:37pm) that sources at Parkhead have dismissed rumours of interest in both players after the Hoops were linked with the two Serbian stars.
The Record claim that reports in Europe had linked the club with a move for Dortmund and Serbia centre-back Subotic, but their own sources have now rubbished those links.
The agent of 19-year-old Adzic had claimed that Celtic had expressed interest in his client, but that assertion has also been dismissed by Parkhead sources.
Good move by Celtic?
Well, if there was interest in both players, then yes.
Subotic is an extremely experience centre-back who has helped Dortmund to five major trophies during his time at the club, and he would no doubt strengthen the Bhoys’ back line.
Adzic is an up-and-coming star, and the 19-year-old looks set to move on from Red Star at some point in the near future.
