Juventus are keeping tabs on Tottenham Hotspur star Christian Eriksen ahead of a possible move for the Denmark international this summer, according to the Corriere Dello Sport.

The Italian sports newspaper claim that the defending Serie A champions are eyeing up a move for either “extraordinary talent’ Eriksen or Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil, who is available on a free this summer.

Corriere report that Juve are showing interest in both players as they look to fill a problem position at attacking midfield, and will watch closely until the summer window.

It is said that Eriksen would cost the Italian giants £60million.

Good move for Tottenham Hotspur?

No.

Eriksen is a key player for Mauricio Pochettino, and has been since the Argentine arrived at the club.

It is the Dane who keeps Tottenham ticking in attack, and his interplay is essential to the team going forward.

Any move that sees Eriksen leave is a bad one, no matter the money involved.

Likely to happen?

Luckily for Spurs fans, you would think not.

Eriksen has only just recently expressed his happiness at the club, and if rumours are to be believed, he is to be offered an improved deal in the near future.

There is no reason to suggest that he would reject that, and a new contract would seem to secure his future at the club for now.

Even if a big bid did come in for him, Pochettino and Daniel Levy would not let him go easily.
