Diogo Jota completed 90 minutes in the win over Birmingham on Monday night – and the Wolves fans offered mixed responses to his display on Twitter.
The left-winger helped his side pick up three Championship points on his 21st birthday to see the Midlands club extend their position at the top of the league to four points.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side picked up an away win over rivals Birmingham thanks to an early goal from Leo Bonatini as he tapped in from close range.
Jota was at the heart of the game as he played an important role in the goal as he forced the goalkeeper into a fine save in the build-up to Bonatini’s strike.
The wide man was also targeted by the Birmingham defence, with Marc Roberts shown a yellow card for a late challenge on him.
He was once again on the receiving end of a big challenge in the second-half which saw Michael Morrison shown a booking, while Harlee Dean was sent off for a second yellow card in the aftermath.
Wolves fans on social media were in disagreement with one another over the performance of Jota against Birmingham, with some of them feeling he was unable to match his usual high standard.

Jota has still played a crucial role in Wolves’ impressive form so far this campaign and was once again at the centre of the attention against Birmingham.
The on-loan skilful winger has scored nine goals and supplied five assists so far this campaign, which has seen him being tipped for the Premier League.
He has previously featured in the Champions League for Porto and is now showing his class in England’s second tier.
