Six Tottenham players could go out on loan in the January transfer window, according to Football London.
The Trinity Mirror football site claim that fringe first teamers Georges-Kevin NKoudou and Kyle Walker-Peters are in line for temporary exits in January in order to get regular first-team football.
Football London report that youngsters Anthony Georgiou, Luke Amos, Joe Pritchard and Christian Maghoma could join NKoudou and Walker-Peters in heading out of White Hart Lane next month.
It is said that there is a strong possibility £11million signing NKoudou will be dropped from Tottenham’s Champions League squad to make way for Erik Lamela, who is fully fit after making his long-awaited comeback next month.
OPINION
It makes sense for Tottenham to temporarily offload any player who is not in genuine first team contention. NKoudou, a huge disappointment since his transfer 18 months ago, certainly fits into that category, as does Walker-Peters, the hugely promising young full-back. As for the four youngsters, they are nowhere near the first team set-up and would be better serves heading out on loan to English League One and League Two clubs, where they can expect regular first-team football. NKoudou and Walker-Peters can aim higher most likely first or second tier outfits, although do not be surprised if the former France Under-21 international returns to his homeland, where his game appears far better suited.
