Kevin Mirallas is almost certain to quit Everton in the January transfer window, according to Nieuwsblad.

The Belgian newspaper claim that Galatasaray and Mirallas’ former club Olympiakos are interested in signing him next month.

Nieuwsblad report that the Belgium international winger favours a move to the Greek club after a successful spell there but Galatasaray are expected to make a better offer.

Mirallas has made 186 appearances for the Toffees since joining them in 2012, scoring 38 goals, but it is said he is on a road to nowhere at the club.

The wide man signed a contract in May that ties him to Everton until 2020.

Good move for Everton?

Mirallas is clearly surplus to requirements at Goodison. Ronald Koeman didn’t fancy him, and Sam Allardyce appears to be of the same mind. The speed machine is a potent attacker but his end product is often severely lacking, which drives his managers up the wall. Aged 30, Everton should look to cash in on Mirallas while he still retains some transfer value and use the proceeds to strengthen their attack.

Likely to happen?

Given that the Belgian newspaper have close contacts with the Premier League-based players from the country, it can be safely assumed that Mirallas is heading out of Everton next month. The question is, will it be on loan or a permanent deal?
