Celtic fans have been quick to single out striker Moussa Dembele for his poor performance against Ross County as the Hoops walked away with a narrow 1-0 win.
Leigh Griffiths was the saviour as his brilliant free-kick helped the Bhoys break down a stubborn Ross County side.
Strike partner Dembele put in a poor performance as he started ahead of Griffiths, before being hauled off by Brendan Rodgers in the 81st minute.
Griffiths curled his free-kick into the top corner with only 12 minutes remaining to help Celtic extend their unbeaten domestic run to 64 games.
Ross County’s defensive game plan stifled Dembele’s ability to influence the game, with the French international struggling to get into the match at all.
Celtic came away with an important win however, as Griffiths spared his fellow striker’s blushes with another quality free-kick.
The win takes the Hoops out to six points ahead of second-placed Aberdeen, ahead of the Dons fixture with Motherwell.
Unfortunately for young Dembele, it was his performance who drew criticism despite the important win.
