Tottenham monitoring in-form attacker Richarlison

Tottenham are eyeing up Watford’s young attacker Richarlison, according to the Daily Mirror.

The newspaper claims that Spurs have begun tracking the 20-year-old after his impressive start to life in the Premier League.

It is understood that the North London club are now eyeing the Brazilian and that scouts have been frequently already this campaign to watch him in action.

The report details that Mauricio Pochettino is keen to add pace, a goal threat and versatility in the final third of the pitch, something that the Watford ace can provide.

Richarlison has thrived since his £11.2million summer arrival in England and the left-sided attacker has been a breathe of fresh air.

Good move for Spurs?

Richarlison certainly appears to be a very bright prospects and could be a strong signing for Spurs.

The in-form attacker usually operates on the left hand side and has been an ever-present in Marco Silva’s side this season.

He has scored four goals and supplied three assists in just 12 games for Watford, making him one of their most effective players.

Richarlison is by no means the finished article and still needs to brush up on his finishing.

However, there is clearly huge potential and the way that the youngster has taken to the Premier League so quickly must be admired.

Richarlison is unlikely to stay at Watford for long if he keeps up his good form and it is no surprise that one of England’s big hitters are interest.

Spurs could be the ideal destination for the Brazilian if he leaves Watford so soon after his arrival and manager Pochettino would surely thrive working with the young player.

The extensive scouting mission suggests that they are genuinely keen on adding his services, but Watford will be in the driving seat given his summer arrival.
