Tottenham supporters have taken to social media to slam attacking midfielder Dele Alli for his display in the North London derby on Saturday afternoon.
The 21-year-old failed to make an impact for his side as Mauricio Pochettino slumped to disappointing 2-0 defeat at the hands of bitter rivals Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
Alli was eventually replaced after 70 minutes as Arsene Wenger’s side currently find themselves one point behind Spurs in the league table.
The Gunners scored both goals in the first-half through Shkodran Mustafi and Alexis Sanchez in a derby where the hosts were evidently more fired up on the day.
It was the first time where Arsenal had managed to beat Spurs in the Premier League since the 2013-14 campaign.
Spurs fans were clearly upset about the result and they expressed their disappointment on social and directed most of their angry messages towards the England international.
This Is Futbol has rounded up some of the best tweets:
Alli has been the worst I’ve seen in a Spurs shirt. Playing like a League 1 player from MK Dons.

Too often Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen go missing in big games. Looks like they’re going for a stroll. #COYS

We *might* have got away with playing an obviously not fully fit Kane if it wasn’t for the fact that Eriksen & in particular Alli have been WOEFUL today. #THFC #COYS

Alli missed the international break through injury and he appeared to be far from full fitness in the crucial derby.
The midfielder has enjoyed a fine campaign for Spurs so far, contributing with seven goals and one assist in all competitions.
Spurs will look to get right back on track in midweek when they face Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.
