Newcastle United fans have taken to Twitter to express their anger at summer signing Joselu’s performance against Bournemouth at St James’ Park on Saturday afternoon.
The Tyneside club have now endured back-to-back 1-0 defeats in the Premier League after losing to the Cherries on the weekend.
The visitors produced a fine second-half performance and they eventually secured their second three points on the road thanks to a goal from Steve Cook in the 90th minutes of the match.
The result means that the Magpies fail to close the gap on the top four places and they drop down to 11th position in the league table.
The club’s supporters took to social media and the majority of them were quick to criticise Joselu for his display on the weekend.

Joselu done absolutely NOTHING once again. Struggling to understand why Mitro hasn't had a chance. Again. #nufc

It's no secret we lack quality up front. I can't see why Rafa keeps running Joselu out there as a starter. #nufc

Joselu, 27, was eventually replaced by Ayoze Perez with 20 minutes remaining after failing to make an impact in front of goal.
Newcastle have now failed to score in their last two Premier League matches which indicates that the Spaniard must start to improve.
The striker has failed to contribute with a single goal or assist in the last three matches in which he has started.
The Magpies will look to bounce back when they face Manchester United after the international break.
