Manchester United supporters have taken to social media to praise the club’s manager Jose Mourinho for starting both Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial in the match against Newcastle United.
Mourinho has rarely deployed both attacking players from the start as he has preferred to start one and bring on the other during the latter stages of the match.
The Portuguese was heavily criticised before the international break after his side suffered disappointing defeats against newly-promoted Huddersfield Town and Premier League champions Chelsea.
Both forwards have produced impressive performances this season with Rashford contributing with seven goals and six assists in all competitions whilst Martial has notched up six goals and six assists.
United will be desperate to pick up all three points this weekend in order to stay in touch with local rivals Manchester City in the title race.
The Manchester club revealed the starting line-up for the match against Rafa Benitez’s side on their official Twitter account which showed both will partner Romelu Lukaku up top.
