Idrissa Gueye completed 90 minutes during the defeat against Leicester on Sunday – and the Everton fans destroyed him on Twitter for his performance.
The 28-year-old midfielder was unable to dominate the battle in the centre of the park as he played alongside teammate Tom Davies.
Caretaker boss David Unsworth watched his side slip to a 2-0 away loss against Leicester at the King Power Stadium to keep them in the relegation zone of the Premier League.
Jamie Vardy put the Foxes in front in the 18th minute as he tapped in what was a brilliant counter attacking goal.
Gueye was unable to tackle an accelerating Demarai Gray in the build up to Vardy’s goal as he mistimed his lunging tackle and the goal shortly followed.
Gray then got on the scoresheet in the first-half as his cross went in with some help from Jonjoe Kenny’s deflation.
Everton fans on social media have singled out central midfielder Gueye for his display against Leicester and feel that he is out form right now.

Gueye with absolute schoolboy defending there. Cannot describe how easy it is to skin a player when they do that

Gueye is an absolute shadow of the player he was last season

Gueye has endured a torrid time so far this season and will be desperate to rediscover the form that made him a big favourite in the last campaign.
The Senegal international is recognised for being a combative defensive midfielder that operates in front of the back four.
He has started every Premier League game so far this season, but his form has dipped off considerably as the Merseyside club continue to struggle.
