Tottenham scouts are hot on the trial of Ajax stars Donny van de Beek and Justin Kluivert, according to Sky Sports.
The news outlet claims that Spurs representatives are currently watching Ajax fixtures in the Dutch League and have picked out two of their rising stars to monitor.
It is understood that the North London club are continuing with their policy to target clubs in Europe, with both Davinson Sanchez and Christian Eriksen arriving from the Eredivisie side in the past.
The report details that Spurs have picked out central midfielder Van de Beek, 20, who has become a regular in the senior team this season.
Meanwhile, Mauricio Pochettino’s side have been actively tracking 18-year-old winger Kluivert since 2016 and he is still being monitored by the Premier League side.
Good move for Spurs?
Ajax have become famous for prosecuting talented players in recent years so tapping into their poor of talent is a smart idea.
Van de Beek is a talented midfielder that is good in possession and also has goals to his game.
He has already netted three times in 13 games so far this season and Spurs could do with someone adding goals from the centre of the park, with the likes of Harry Winks, Eric Dier, Mousa Dembele and Victor Wanyama more conservative.
Kluivert is an exciting prospect that has blistering pace and that is certainly an element lacking from the current Spurs squad.
It is always unclear whether Ajax stars can cut it in the Premier League, but Pocehttino is a master at guiding youngsters to the top.

Spurs appear to have taken a shine to Van de Beek and Kluivert in particular, so it would be no surprise to see them end up in the Premier League further down the line.
