Tottenham are one of three English teams in the race for European sensation Mikolaj Bieganski, according to ESPN.

The news website claims that Spurs, Manchester United and Aston Villa are in the race for the 15-year-old goalkeeper from Polish third-tier club Skra Czestochowa.

It is understood that the teenager has impressed for club and his nation Poland recently, which has seen him tipped for a bright future in the senior game.

The report details that shot stopper Bieganski has already trained with Spurs, United and Villa in the past to help them monitor his potential.

The trio have all expressed an interest in signing him and the goalkeeper is expected to move to England after he turns 16 next April.

Polish club Skra Czestochowa are unlikely to stand in the youngster’s way to seal an exit, despite him already training with their first team.

Good move for Spurs?

Spurs are quickly becoming one of the best English teams to bring through young talents and manager Mauricio Pochettino is a key man behind that trend.

Bieganski is clearly a big upcoming talent and attacking interest from English teams suggests he can become something special.

Spurs have a brilliant platform in place for youngsters to work their way up to the senior set-up and the North London club would be the best place for the goalkeeper.

They can’t rely on Hugo Lloris forever and bringing through the next shot stopper is something they need to address in the coming years.

Bieganski is expected to make the switch to England after his 16th birthday and Spurs certainly appears to be a likely destination for him.

Harry Winks is the latest academy sensation to break into the first team and many youngsters will see that as a path they can follow.

Argentinian boss Pochettino is also a major pulling power for rising stars, but Spurs will have to fend off firm interest from United and Villa for his signature.
