Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to claim that Liverpool’s Sadio Mane absence for the upcoming fixture between the clubs is a “huge” blow for the visitors.
The Reds confirmed on both their official Twitter account and the club’s official website that the Senegal international picked up a hamstring injury on Saturday and will be out of action for up to six weeks.

The injury lay-off means that the 25-year-old attacker will be missing for some of the club’s most important fixtures, including their clash with Manchester United this weekend and their trip to Liverpool on 22 October.
Mane has been in excellent form this season and is widely regarded as one of the most devastating forwards in the Premier League.
He signed from top flight rivals Southampton in the summer of 2016 for a fee rising to £38million and has made a huge impression in Jurgen Klopp’s exciting side, with 16 goals and 10 assists in 38 appearances.
Tottenham fans took to social en masse to react to the news of Mane’s absence for the match in 12 days, with many claiming that the most relieved man will be left-back Ben Davies.
