Manchester United are reportedly preparing to offer £45million for Danny Rose – and a section of Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to urge their club to cash in on the left-back.
The Daily Star claim that United have made Rose one of their top transfer targets and are ready to table a huge bid to convince Spurs to sell one of their key men.
The newspaper claim Rose has his heart set on a move to Old Trafford ahead of the World Cup in June and is ready to end his lengthy association with the north Londoners.
Rose has not played since suffering knee ligament damage in a game at Sunderland in January but he is on the comeback trail and is in line to return to training within the next week.
Rose penned a new deal with Spurs in September 2016 worth around £75,000-a-week that tied him to the club until 2021.
A surprisingly high number of Tottenham fans are keen to see Mauricio Pochettino’s side take the money that will reportedly soon be on offer for the 27-year-old, with many effectively saying Levy should rip United’s arm off at £45million.
