Rangers travel to St Johnstone on Friday night in the league and should make three changes to their side to help them pick up three points.

The Gers should return fresh after the international break and they face a crucial fixture against a team that are only behind them on goal difference.

St Johnstone have started the season in good form, but Pedro Caixinha’s side should run out comfortable winners if they play near their best.

The manager should make three changes to the side that beat Hamilton 4-1 away in their previous fixture at the end of September.

Ross McCrorie, Carlos Pena and the suspended Ryan Jack should be the players to drop out for them.

Midfield flop Pena has made a dreadful start to life at Ibrox since his summer arrival and deserves to be dropped to the bench after a spell of disappointing performances.

The 27-year-old central midfielder is yet to repay the faith shown by Caixinha and should be nowhere near the starting XI based on current form.

This Is Futbol has selected the best possible XI that Rangers can field that are good enough to dismantle St Johnstone on their home turf.
