Man United scraped to an unconvincing 1-0 win in the Champions League against Benfica on Wednesday night, with Marcus Rashford scoring the only goal of the game.
He scored in the 64th minute from a free kick about 40 yards out when he spotted the Benfica keeper Mile Svilar off his line.
The young keeper got back and caught it but his momentum carried him over the line for a goal that he won’t want to see again.
Rashford was then subbed off with an injury in the 76th minute.
Before that it had been a familiar tale for Jose Mourinho’s men, with very few chances and a lacklustre Lukaku typifying the United attack.
However, the United fans saved most of their criticism for Daley Blind in defence.
The 27-year-old hasn’t started in the Premier League since August, but has played all three of United’s Champions League matches.
And United fans weren’t convinced by him on Wednesday night in Portugal.
