Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi has cut down a fan hilariously on Twitter who sent out an insulting text during the Premier League game with Watford on Saturday.

Chelsea were in trouble against Watford and 2-1 down when Batshuayi came on for Alvaro Morata in the 61st minute of the game.

He scored the equalising goal in the 71st minute before adding another in injury time to secure the three points. Defender Cezar Azpilicueta scored Chelsea’s third in between.

During the game a Chelsea fan tweeted to say that he would eat his “s***” if Batshuayi “wins this game.”

The Chelsea striker responded to him on Monday afternoon, with a couple of emojis and a simple “Bon appetit”.

Batshuayi’s brace was his first goals of the Premier League season, but he now has seven in all competitions and will be hoping for more game time with Morata struggling for form.

OPINION

Batshuayi’s Twitter game is almost as good as his performance on the pitch on Saturday. A defeat to Watford would have signalled a mini-crisis for Chelsea but that was averted with a game-changing performance from the 24-year-old striker. He’s struggled to make an impact and get a run in the Chelsea first team but this could be the opening he was looking for. If he starts the next game and scores again, Morata could find himself playing as an impact sub for the second club in succession.
