Arsenal scraped a win against Red Star Belgrade in Serbia on Thursday evening, but they had to produce a late moment of brilliance to get there.
The game was heading for a listless 0-0 draw when Red Star player Milan Rodic was sent off for his second yellow card in the 80th minute.
Five minutes later the three Arsenal front men, Jack Wilshere, Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud combined brilliantly to set the Frenchman up for a spectacular overhead kick.
It wasn’t a vintage Arsenal performance though and the line-up was experimental with a back three of Mathieu Debuchy, Mohamed Elneny and Rob Holding.
However, they came back with three points and it gave Arsene Wenger a chance to give some youngsters a run, including Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Joseph Willock and Reiss Nelson.
And it was Nelson who impressed the Arsenal fans, with the 17-year-old producing a solid performance on the right of midfield.
