Josh Windass has retained his place in the Rangers starting line-up against Celtic – and the club’s supporters on Twitter are not pleased with the decision.

The 23-year-old midfielder is likely to operate from the left flank and will be hoping to make a big influence on the Old Firm clash.

Pedro Caixinha has decided to make three changes to his side from the cup win over Partick as they host the Bhoys at Ibrox at Saturday 12pm.

Rangers currently have 11 points from their opening six league games and won’t want to fall any further behind early pace setters Celtic in the table, who have 16 points from the same amount of fixtures.

They may have revenge on their mind after losing 5-1 at home to Brendan Rodgers’ side last season and will now feel they have a much stronger outfit.

However, Rangers fans are not pleased with Windass’ inclusion in the starting XI and feel he should have been dropped.

Windass has often divided opinion during his time at Ibrox and some fans insist he should be omitted from the line-up on a permanent basis.

The English midfielder has already made eight appearances so far this campaign, scoring one goal and supplying one assist in return.

He will be hoping to prove any doubters wrong at the weekend and putting in a big performance against bitter rivals Celtic would be the perfect response.
