Celtic fans took to Twitter to slam Mikael Lustig in the wake of their 2-0 league win at Rangers on Saturday.
The Hoops faithful were brutal in their assessment of the performance of the experienced defender, 30, despite their side’s convincing win.
Goals from Tom Rogic and Leigh Griffiths secured the three points for Brendan Rodgers’ side and not only extended their domestic unbeaten run to 57 matches but lifted them five points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership table.
But Celtic supporters were highly critical on social media of long-serving Lustig, with many of them claiming he “looks finished” as a footballer as they called time on his career at the club.
The right-back, a 60-times Sweden international, has made 199 appearances for the club since joining from Rosenborg in the summer of 2012.
He has switched between centre-back and right-back this season, but was restored to his traditional slot on the right side of the defence in the lunchtime showdown at Ibrox.
But Hoops supporters were unimpressed by his display, as they claimed he cannot cut it anymore.

Putting out there again that Lustig is finished. He offers very little defensively or going forward.
